Focus assist (also called quiet hours in earlier version of Windows 10) allows you to avoid distracting notifications when you need to stay focused. Here's how to turn this setting on or off:

1) Select the Action Center icon on the taskbar.

2) Select Focus assist to turn it on or off. (You may need to select Expand first.)
