How to password protect your notes in Microsoft OneNote?

Using shared notebook on OneNote or have shared your personal notebook with your colleagues? You can limit the access of the users by keeping your notes secure using password protection feature on Microsoft's OneNote 2016.


Step 1: Open your One Note document.



Step 2: Select the document tab or session, click the document by left button of mouse.





Step 3: Click on Password protect this session.




Step 4: Click on the Set password and Create your own password to protect the document by password.




Step 5: Left click on the Session and Select the password protect option and click on the Lock All tab button to protect the document.



Step 6: Then you will see that the document is password protected.


Step 7: Press Enter to unlock your document and type password to unlock that document.
